I would without a doubt give this book a ten-star review if it were possible. Giana Darling has done it again. She’s written another five-star read that is not only intensely sexual but a gripping story that readers will not be able to set down. I end up loving the words that Darling pens with each new story more than I thought I possibly could have after the last… and how do you do better than a five-star read? I don’t have a readymade answer to this question, but I know that Giana Darling does it with each and every book she releases! Darling writes some of the hottest books I have ever read and Welcome To The Dark Side is going to take romance readers by storm. I absolutely foresee this one getting a best seller flag and being the talk of the book world. Welcome To The Dark Side is a taboo love story that takes readers back to the world of The Fallen MC where President Zeus Garro and the love of his life, LouLou fight for their love and the survival of the MC. With nineteen years separating the two in age, and children who are closer to Lou’s age then his own, Zeus has meet his match with the feisty high schooler who rules his heart and his …package. 😉 Lou has faced repeated hardships in her young life and cancer is only the tip of the iceberg. Her upbringing and her guardian monster have made her the perfect match for a man who operates outside of the law. The dynamic between the pair is perfect – like two halves of the same coin. But it’s also worth noting just how incredible I find the whole of the MC; Darling’s characters all make you stand up and take notice. They all make you want to see them get their own HEAs. And for those of us who are slightly obsessed with seeing just how Darling is going to step-up her hotness factor with the next book, I have my sights set on romances for H.R. as well as Nova in the near future. (If you’re reading this Giana, I know you’re already on top of this request… 😉)

There are so many amazing qualities that I want to touch on in this review of Welcome To The Dark Side. Giana Darling definitely writes combustible chemistry that will leave readers enthralled. Welcome To The Dark Side is another bit of the taboo with a whole lot of the sexiness that I myself have come to see as a hallmark of Darling’s books. When she writes romance, she does it with the surety that sex sells but so does the fairytale. Darling’s fairytales aren’t your typical Disney variety and have much darker elements, but the very gritty nature of her stories draws me in far more for the realness that her characters survive. Her heroines are feisty and very aware of their own sexuality. The heroes are alpha in all the best ways. As the status of the relationship between Lou and Zeus changes, the two come to realize their relationship with one another is as indispensable as air. Yet, not everyone is onboard with their relationships and consequences aris. Only Lou and Zeus’ relationship again increases in velocity and Lou gains something that she’s never had before. A true family – for the Fallen is as true a family as one could have. And after the hardships of her life, Lou is incredibly deserving of a family that has her back… sometimes the family we choose is the very best family of all. The plot of Welcome To The Dark Side is superbly written and left me guessing until the very end. I love the way Darling’s plots unfold. Just when you think you have a glimpse of where she is leading readers, twists unfold that leave you stumbling. With Welcome To The Dark Side, readers get the sweet relationship that starts between Zeus and Lou when she is just 7 years old. They get to follow the pair as unlikely pen pals and watch the relationship evolve from unlikely friends to much, much more. I was moved to tears over the course of this book and as soon as I finished reading it the first time, I jumped right back into the story a second time. I think the pace is perfect for this story, and while it is a bit of a slow burn…have no fear, the smut is coming, and you won’t be disappointed…I promise! You also will need to have fresh batteries, panties and a cold shower to get through this story – in all likelihood, it will only be a combination of all three that will see you through to the end of this story. In the meantime, Welcome To The Dark Side is waiting…so you best one-click this fantastic story with all haste!
