Mr. Wrong by Alessandra Hart –  4 stars

Mr. Wrong by Alessandra Hart intrigued me from the blurb alone. I was lucky enough to sign up to receive an ARC of this book and I was very excited about the chance to read a new author. As I mentioned, the blurb really hooked me. The story itself definitely follows the blurb, but it has some serious twists and turns that readers won’t see coming.

Lies and puppy-napping bring Jake and Nora together under less then stellar circumstances. But Jake quickly realizes that those lies are far from true and that his gut instincts lead him to Nora again and again. Trust is a two way street and these two quickly become far more then just friends.

Alessandra Hart wrote a story that readers are sure to like. Told in Duel POV, readers will very quickly fall for the irresistible Jake Archer because for all his bad boy vibes, he’s really just an amazing man that Nora never stood a chance against. I liked Nora but I didn’t really love her as a heroine. She has been through a terribly rough relationship and come out on the other end stronger, yet she is basically instantly in love with Jake. That simple fact was what threw me about the book. I think it’s really the reason I couldn’t give this story more then four stars in my review. The plot was certainly entertaining and well written, and delivered some fun twists and turns in the story that readers won’t be expecting. Overall, I enjoyed the book, and will look at more work by Alessandra Hart in the future.
