My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been reading Jordan Marie for 3 years now and I just love how she writes romance. Jordan’s books are an escape – you can get lost in them because they suck you right in! While it’s been a bit since I got to sit down and devour one of her MC romances, when I saw that she had a new book coming out, I couldn’t resist signing up to help with promo through my blog. Thank God I did because Holy Shit did I love Diesel! Absolutely a 5-Star Read…

“…Some blows don’t have to be physical to destroy you, Noah. I told you that once, don’t you remember? Words are venom, a poison that destroys you from the inside out.”

Diesel is book one of Jordan Marie’s new Love and War Duet which takes place in the Savage Brothers MC series. You can read Diesel without reading the first book of the series, however, the story is not complete at the conclusion of Diesel. You will have to wait to get your hands on Rory 😉 I got sucked in super-fast and couldn’t put my kindle down. I’ve never read a book by Jordan Marie that has disappointed me, or that I would rate below a 4-star read. Additionally, Diesel may be my favorite book by this author yet… I’ve been pondering this for days trying to decide between Diesel and the duet from the Devil’s Blaze MC Series that includes: Beast: Learning to Breathe & Beauty: Learning to Live. I haven’t come to a conclusion yet, and that should say something since Diesel is just the first book this new duet.

“…Possessing me to the point that I know without a doubt he’s leaving his own kind of scars. Scars that will never heal, but these scars aren’t black. These scars are made of pure beauty.”

I can’t think of a signal thing about Diesel that I didn’t love. The plot was outstanding –dramatic, raw, emotional and gritty—all set to a fast past which meant the story was perfect for drawing readers in and keeping them interested and invested in plotlines. Then there is the Characters: Diesel and Rory. Diesel, the hero, is a single dad to Ryan—and as amazing of a father as he is—it was the Asshole that he portrays with Rory that was a HUGE draw for me. If you follow my reviews, you know how much I love an Asshole because something about them just draws you in, so needless to say, I found Diesel sexy as fuck! Rory, the heroine was feisty and full of sass, and I loved how she stood up to Diesel at every turn. As the story delved into her past, my heart simply broke for her. The sparks really flew between Diesel and Rory—hell, they were straight up fireworks—so every time they interacted with each other I wanted to sit down with a tub of popcorn. 😊 As with most enemies-to-lovers romances, the sexy factor is amped up. But then again, everything Jordan Marie writes is super sexy! Diesel is a slow-burn romance and it was so soooo delicious – note to those reading this review, have your batteries charged, and/or a change of panties at the ready cause you are going to need them! 😉 Also important to note, even though I HATE cliffhangers, I couldn’t help but appreciate just how consuming Diesel was. This not so subtle cliffy left me extremely close to chucking my kindle across the room but the knowledge that I wouldn’t be able to read the conclusion to the duet if I broke my device stayed my hand! Be prepared to have your mind blown if Diesel is your first book by Jordan Marie. I am relatively sure that there is no one reading this who’s read her work in the past cause you know just how outstanding her books are… get your hands on a copy of Diesel now!
