Darkest Sin is my first book by Ashton Blackthorne. I own several others and wanted a chance to finally pick up something by Sir Ashton but my schedule for blogging and editing keeps me so busy that reading off my TBR is hard right now. I saw Darkest Sin through a PR group and added it to my schedule to kill two birds with one stone so to speak! I am soooo glad I added it for sure but have to question why I let my schedule keep me from reading him sooner. I have heard his books are super-hot and would certainly qualify Darkest Sin as one of the sexier books I have read lately. Ashton Blackthorne includes an author’s note that this book is based on embellished events in his own life making it somewhat of an autobiography that’s been rewritten to an erotic romance.
First, I want to say that I don’t want to include spoilers in this review and therefore my comments will be slightly vague. I’m SORRY, but you’ll appreciate my ambiguous review if you choose to read the book… and you should totally read the book! Darkest Sin was fast paced and deliciously dirty. I enjoyed all of the suspense and the twists that were included in the plot making it less predicable than most erotica for me. Also, the book is going to leave you unable to put it down and in need of fresh panties (or your B.O.B.) 😉 I really loved that Darkest Sin was darkly erotic and very intense. It’s also an emotional rollercoaster; you’ll experience lust, love, betrayal, anger… well, you get the picture. If this is your first Ashton Blackthorne book, you will definitely be one-clicking more as soon as this one reads ‘The End’! Thank you so much Ashton Blackthorn and Give Me Books PR for allowing me the opportunity to read this book – my review was submitted voluntarily and with great pleasure.
