Falling Through Darkness is a fantastic, sexy story!!!As an avid reader, I am always looking for new authors and I recently came across Kira Berger on social media. Her debut novel Falling Through Darkness caught my attention with it’s gorgeous cover and intriguing blurb. This romance has elements of darkness and suspense that will keep readers on the edge of their seats waiting for the next shoe to drop. It should be noted that the story discusses physical and mental abuse but does so tastefully. Kira Berger obviously went to great pains to release a well written and gripping story, as the uncorrected proof I read had only a few very minor errors. It was impressive! The plot itself is not exactly unique: an abused woman trying to move on with her life and meeting someone new. However, the plot twists that Kira included in Falling Through Darkness made the story creative and fresh and I genuinely didn’t feel like I was reading a story that’s been written 100 times before. Also, the sizzle factor was HIGH with this one…be prepared to need a cold shower and fresh panties. 😉 For a debut novel, Falling Through Darkness exceeded my expectations. And I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone needing to lose themselves in a book!
