Castiel: With Lies, Adair Empire book 3 continues KL Donn’s foray into the world of dark romance series with a novella that is a stunning addition! Readers will absolutely be left panting and anxious for the release of book 4! I have repeated stated in reviews that I am not a huge fan of cliffhangers or novellas/short stories for a variety of reasons, but I am once again left in awe of this author’s abilities. The Adair Empire books all end with cliffhangers and even while you know it’s coming much like a colossal train wreck, you are still left reeling with the conclusion of each book. I always know when I pick up this series that its going to be a quick, uber sexy read and Castiel doesn’t disappoint. I love that KL Donn has taken her storytelling abilities over to the dark side. She continues to impress me with her stories, characters and the evolving plot that readers journey through in this series. And while I wouldn’t normally love the “insta-romance” that readers experience in short stories and novellas – my opinions on that are at complete odds with how much I love these books. That should absolutely sell the series to readers because I rarely give novellas more than a 4 star review, and you can’t not absolutely love the Adair Empire Series by KL Donn. Do yourself a favor and get caught up now before book four release next month! You’ll thank me! In the meantime, KL Donn, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Keep these books coming…
